Yearbook Design 2024-2026
We want to highlight and share the quality of design in our region, offering fresh inspiration to everyone active in the field. The Yearbook maps out remarkable, creative, and innovative projects and objects.
Built on the belief that meaningful design arises from its context (whether a user’s need, an artistic exploration, or a societal challenge) the Yearbook is both a showcase of strong practices and a glimpse of where the design field is heading.
In today’s fragmented landscape, where the artistic, critical, and cultural dimensions of design are under pressure, this publication creates room for reflection and depth. More than just documentation, the Yearbook sparks dialogue and collaboration. It's an open invitation to shape the future of design together.
A Yearbook?
The Yearbook is a structural cornerstone within Designpunt’s multi-layered program, through which we collectively work towards a stronger, richer, and future-oriented design landscape in Flanders.
The publication showcases, archives, and deepens. It is not a one-off snapshot, but an annual overview of the state of design in Flanders. We are already planning editions for 2026 (this open call), 2027, and 2028.
Open Call
To gather material for the Yearbook, we are launching two open calls: one for projects and one for essays. You can find all details and registration links here:
